Thank Goodness for Kindlepreneur!

Finally!!  I'm Getting Emails That I Don't Mind Reading!

And I owe it all to Mr. Dave Chesson, the Dude from Kindlepreneur, who is assisting self-published authors, like myself, market our books better, and thus make more sales!

I came across the opportunity to sign up for a free email subscription during my daily searches on how to improve the marketing of my recently self-published children's book titled, Loose Tooth Trouble, and I'm so glad I did!
BooksbyBixby.com

I received his free ebook outlining how to boost your rankings on Amazon, and I was hooked. The suggestions he has were immediately useful to me.

Two days later, I receive email #2 from Dave Chesson, and again, I'm so grateful for the informative tips I received about analyzing my book's appearance on the web.

I'm excited to see what Dave will teach me next!

Don't believe me? Google search Kindlepreneur and see for yourself.

(I am NOT being compensated or paid in any way to write this post. These are my true and honest opinions, thus far, about Kindlepreneur.)

  1. Oh cool...and the next email will talk about how i use Mention.com to monitor when someone mentions the word "kindlepreneur" on the internet and alerts me about it. Super handy trick for authors to monitor their book titles, or names. Gives opportunity to hear what people are saying ;) ->I use only the free version of mention.com.

The Self-Publishing Dilemma Continues for Indie Authors Trying to Avoid Publishing Scams!

Are you trying to figure out how to get your book published?  Tired of searching the web for the most legitimate, and affordable way to make your dream of publishing your own book a reality?  ME TOO! I've been scrounging the internet for months now, searching for the best way to get a children's fiction picture book published , and this is what I've come up with so far....there are WAY TOO MANY SCAMS OUT THERE, and it can be a scary world for Indie authors who are trying to weed through the garbage subsidy and vanity publishers trolling the web for writers with aspirations of becoming published.  What a discouraging process this can be for self-publishing authors! Who to trust?  Please, don't give up!  If you are like me, you are determined to find the best route to take, which is why I would like to start a conversation on this blog, so Indie authors who are publishing books themselves, can share their horror stories and hopefully provide many of...

A Review of My New Pet, written and illustrated by Melanie Bremner

My New Pet , written and illustrated by Melanie Bremner is a delightful story that any child will enjoy reading, and all parents can appreciate. Written in a simple rhyme scheme pattern, this story is great for beginning readers, as well as a great read aloud. My eight year old and I both really enjoyed the original, colorful illustrations. As a teacher, I could think of a million things to discuss with students, like poetry for example. While reading, My New Pet , with my son, I counted several different themes, or lessons, I could easily discuss with my son or students while reading, or afterwards in one of life’s many teachable moments. The story line was well written, and as the mother of a young son, I really enjoyed the realism of the story. Yes, pets are fun to want, and sometimes even have, but are a huge responsibility, and they may not be appreciated by everyone in the house. I definitely liked and emphasized that theme with my son as two dogs and two cats is p...
